Manni Naumann, Head Coach
I have 20 years of experience as a professional tennis coach, I have worked with juniors of all ages and standards, from mini tennis up to county level, adults from beginner level up to competitive level.
I am very fortunate to be offered the head coach position at Brackendale LTC, after Simon Whiteman decided to step down as head coach after 18 years.
Before I moved to London from Germany in 1988, I was a drum teacher at the music school in Bremen and played in various bands, I continued being involved in music up to 2000.
Work experience: Worked at Mark Warner holiday resort in Corsica, San Luciano, in 2002
2003-2005,Assistant coach at Coolhurst, Highgate, and at Brackendale.
2005-2019 Head coach position at Conway LTC in Southgate.
Special achievements: Middlesex “Coach of the year” county award 2017
Enfield celebration sport award,”All inclusive and active coach of the year 2013”
Qualifications: Diploma in Social Pedagogics/economy(1977) Germany
USPTR qualified in 2001
LTA Level 3 accredited +
First aid & DBS up to date
Tournament referee qualification January 2016
I still enjoy playing competitive tennis myself on the ITF veterans tour, in the UK and abroad. My ITF world ranking stands at 179 in age group 65+ .I m playing for the Middlesex vet’s county team, and my LTA rating stands as a 5.1.
