County Cup week in 2022 was 18-22 July 2022
The LTA Summer County Cup Event is possibly the oldest tennis event on the domestic calendar with Gloucestershire men being the winners back in 1895 and Surrey winning the first ladies event in 1899. The 44 competing counties are organised in six groups of six counties per group and two groups of eight counties on a league basis in both the men’s and ladies’ events.
Ben Smith played for Suffolk in Cheltenham. The Suffolk Ladies played at Frinton. Both teams did well and will be promoted. Diarise now for next year to see the Men at Eastbourne!
