Coaching at Haslingfield Lawn Tennis Club
Paul Bonnington is our Head Coach. He is a LTA Level 4 accredited coach with a tremendous passion for the game and developing players of all ages and abilities. Paul has over 15 years experience working with beginners through to performance level players. He has coached at the Club since 2006 and he does individual and group lessons. Our second coach is Rilla Molnar, an experienced Level 3 Coach who was previously Head Coach at Comberton Tennis Club and coach at Bourn Sports Club. She is passionate about developing mini, junior and adult players of all abili-ties. Rilla also has a strong playing background as a former top 10 junior player in Hungary and Division 1 Cambs LTA Ladies doubles league player. The Club and Paul are also fully involved in the Cambridgeshire LTA Performance Pathway, consistently producing teams for all year round Mini Tennis Team Challenge (8 years & under) events and the August Cambridgeshire Festival of Tennis. In addition, Paul nominates players for County Fun Days which lead to County Training selection and full County team selection.
Group tennis coaching is provided for everyone, not just club members.
EASTER WEEK - Monday 1st to Friday 5th April 2024 - 10am - 12pm 6-8 years and 1-3 pm 9 - 13 years. Price of a session is £12 for non members and £10.80 for members.
SUMMER TERM - Starts Monday 15th January 2024 and runs for 12 weeks excluding half term (27/5 - 1/6) so last lesson is Saturday 13th July.

Supervising Children
Children under the age of 8 are required to have parental supervision whilst at our venue and not participating in any venue sessions, such as coaching lessons or tennis camps.
For coaching activities, we comply with the LTA guidance on coach-to-player ratios. For children aged under 6, a parent or carer must remain near the coaching group for the duration of the session. For children aged under 11, children must be delivered directly into the care of the coach by the parent and picked up directly from the coach. Please note that it is not enough to drop off outside or at the front door of the venue. Parents must ensure that their child has been delivered to the coach. Children under the stipulated age will not be allowed to leave a coaching session or camp unattended unless prior permission has been given.
