Here is a list of frequently asked questions regarding my Holiday Tennis and Multisport Camps, run at Kings Norton Tennis Club. If your questions are not answered here, please feel free to contact me via my email (MattHillmanTennis@hotmail.com) or via my mobile (07503747433).

What is the age ranges do you take for the camp?

Children aged 4 - 12 years old can take part in the camp.  The Camp is predominantly aimed for Primary school children, so the youngest age I take is 4-years old (Reception age). Whilst children in Secondary school are also very welcome to attend the Camp.

How long is a day at Camp?

Morning drop off is between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, with each day officially starting at 9:00am. Camp days end at 5:00pm.

When are Camps run?

The Holiday Camps are run during every school holiday apart from Christmas. Sign up is done online, with the Camps normally open for bookings a couple of months prior to them starting.

My child has never played tennis for, can they still take part in the Camp?

Yes! There is no previous tennis experience required to take part in the camp.  The Holiday Camps are focused on fun and games, and helping children develop skills through play! The Camp is a great introduction to the sport of tennis, along with other sports that develop transferable tennis skills. Both children that have played tennis before, and have never picked up a racquet will benefit and have fun during the camp!

Does my child need to bring a tennis racquet with them?

No. All equipment can be supplied for the camp, so your child does not need to own a racquet in order to take part. However, children are welcome to bring their own racquet with them to the camp if they would like to use their own.

What sports do you offer for the camp?

I offer a wide variety of sports during the camp, with each day planned out to offer sports coaches feel are appropriate for the age ranges attending each day. Tennis will be played each day, at least once, with lots of other multisports being played as well. Football, Dodgeball, Basketball, Cricket, Rounders, Tag Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, Tag Games, Capture the Flag, Targetball, Handball, Indoor Games are just a few of the games offered during the weeks.  Children attending the camp also have the opportunity to request and vote for what activities are offered on the day.

Do I have to sign my child up for the whole week?

No. Children can book onto singles days, and even half days, depending on how long they would like to attend the camp.  Full week bookings are available, with a large discount.

Do you offer discounts for the camp?

Yes! Sibling discounts are available for families with more than one child attending, and there is also a large discount available for anyone looking to attend the camp for a whole week.
