This was  a random draw format with round robin and then knock out stages.  Dan Norton and Mollie Twitchell and Sam Hudson and Pamela Reid faced each other in the final.  In the closest final of the day, it went to a championship tie-break and Pamela and Sam were able to win the key points in the closing stages.

Pamela noted that she was by far the oldest on court with Dan and Mollie's ages added together still not coming close to her own.  She was thankful for having  Sam, also in his 20s, as her partner.
